Main event: Vinny Lopez vs. Ryan Peake in a 185 lb. professional fight. Peake landed first with kicks then he shot for a takedown. Lopez sprawled, came to standing, threatened with a guillotine then took it to the mat. From back/side control Lopez worked strong GNP until Peake spun in, leaving Lopez in side control. After pinning Peake against the cage Lopez flurried with forearms and knees to the body. Finally Lopez transitioned to a crucifix and landed solid forearms to his opponent's head to get the TKO win at 4:16 of round one.
Co-main event: Brian Maronek vs. Michael Mathews for the 185 lb. title. Mathews used punches to enter the clinch and Maronek set in a standing guillotine then fell back to guard. Mathews escaped and worked GNP until Maronek set in a tight armbar. Mathews escaped and Maronek transitioned to a triangle choke. Mathews positioned himself well and worked GNP while also defending the choke. With ten seconds left Maronek switched to an armbar that was defended until the round ended. Round two had Mathews landing a teep kick followed by punches. Maronek clinched and jumped guard looking for multiple submissions while Mathews worked GNP from inside his guard. Maronek scored a sweep into full mount but was then swept himself. From his back Maronek worked between sweep attempts and submission set-ups while Mathews worked striking until the round ended. Round three had the fighters clinching immediately and working body shots. When Maronek lifted a knee for a hip toss Mathews caught it and scored a takedown. From side control Mathews transitioned to mount and worked strikes. Maronek looked to buck and roll but Mathews took back control and set in the title winning RNC with the tapout coming at :51 of round three.
Bryan Montoya vs. Dominick Garkow. Garkow came out swinging hard and landed well. The fighters then clashed shins on a kick and Montoya sustained an injury that forced him to tap out. Garkow got the TKO win at :11 of round one.
Ryan Blair vs. Sylvester Mitchell. Mitchell opened with a flurry of punches that did not stop until he got the TKO win at :44 of round one.
Doree Sanchez vs. Kelly Brown. Brown used punching to initiate the clinch and the fighters worked Thai techniques and traded positions against the cage with both landing solid knees and body punches. Near the end of the round Sanchez scored a bodylock takedown into full mount to work GNP until the round ended. Round two had Brown immediately initiating the clinch then Sanchez initiating the takedown but on the mat Brown rolled through to end in the guard of Sanchez. Brown worked GNP while Sanchez worked between escape and submission attempts until the referee stood the fighters. On the restart Brown immediately clinched and worked for a takedown that was defended until the bell ended the round. Round three began with strikes from the outside until Brown clinched and pushed Sanchez into the cage to set up a takedown. On the mat Brown worked into half mount to work GNP until the round ended. The scorecards were read and the winner was Kelly Brown by unanimous decision.
Cruz Soltero vs. Sasha Brown. Round one started with Soltero working kicks and Brown working punches. Soltero clinched and got a takedown into ľ mount to work GNP to set up the transition to the fight ending RNC at 1:06 of round one.
Gabe Florez vs. Toby Lopez. Lopez worked punching early then defended a takedown to keep it standing. Florez initiated another takedown but Lopez ended on top for GNP until the fighters scrambled to standing. Florez again shot and Lopez again ended on top and the fighters scrambled to their feet. With ten seconds left Lopez scored a hip toss takedown and the fighters worked strikes until the bell. Round two had Lopez getting a hip toss takedown early to work GNP. Florez worked to standing but was again taken down. On the mat Florez set in a triangle choke that Lopez escaped with a slam. After working GNP Lopez briefly stood then closed back in but Florez used the space to get to standing. Off of the clinch Lopez scored a takedown and flurried with GNP from a crucifix position until the round ended. In round three Lopez scored first with a takedown and from side control he flurried with GNP to get the TKO GNP stoppage at 1:41 of round three.
David Garcia vs. Nic Navarro. Both fighters favored kicks early then Navarro scored a takedown into full mount. On the ground Navarro worked solid GNP to set up a transition to back control. Once there Navarro set in the RNC for the victory at 1:03 of round one.
Garrett Irons vs. Michael Zapata. To open round one Zapata scored an early takedown but just as fast Irons set in a tight triangle choke. Zapata used several slams to try to escape, but Irons stayed committed to the submission and got the tapout victory at :50 of round one.
The originally scheduled main event of Henry Solis vs. Ed Banks did not happen due to Mr. Banks sustaining an injury while warming up backstage.
“Of The Night” Moments: Submission of the night goes to Garrett Irons for his fight winning triangle choke despite being slammed several times while locking it in. KO/TKO of the night goes to Sylvester Mitchell for his flurry of punches that started at the opening bell and did not end until he got the TKO win. Fight of the night goes to Brian Maronek and Michael Mathews for their very technical fight that showcased the submission skills, positional control, sweeps, escapes, conditioning and heart of both.
